At 550 km from Paris, you can go back some 500, 1000, 2000 or 20 000 years, but with Wifi and a large infinity pool.

In terms of gastronomyThe Périgord is the land of foie gras and truffles, but also of honey, walnuts, cheese and strawberries, not to mention Bergerac and Monbazillac. The Michelin guide has no less than 7 starred restaurants, not to mention the 11 "Bib gourmands". When you visit the 47 farmers? markets, you can see why it is so difficult to eat badly!

And to make matters worse, you will find here a way of life of natural kindness and independence. Here, people look you in the eye, drivers are courteous, and you get more help than elsewhere. Not surprisingly, the Dordogne is one of the safest departments in France. Here you will feel good.

There is so much to see in the Dordogne

It is frustrating to come to a region and find that what you wanted to see is too far away, that the children don't want to drive around all day, and that you leave without having seen much of what you came to see. This is all the more risky in the Dordogne which is the third largest department in FranceThe roads are sometimes narrow and winding. From the north to the south of the department, count on 3 hours of driving! Hence the importance of choosing a well-located holiday resort, and we can say that you have really come to the right place! Moreover, as we are also very close to the Lot (15 km) and the Corrèze (50 km) and as there are also beautiful things in our neighbouring regions, we radiate all around Cénac, as far as the Gironde!

Of course, the table below is not exhaustive, but it gives you a good idea of the diversity of what you can discover in one or two weeks of holidays in our gîtes.

We offer our guests a Mapstr app© This allows you to visit the castle with your tickets booked and therefore without queuing, to avoid missing the right pastry shop, or to spend an hour at the eco-store. This allows you, for example, when you go to Castelnaud, to visit the castle having booked your tickets and therefore without queuing, not to miss the good patisserie, or to spend an hour at the walnut eco-museum - or to hire electric bikes for the day.
