Geschiedenis
De vakantiehuisjes van La Burague liggen op de rand van Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, langs een bescheiden dorpsweg, ooit de Romeinse weg die via Sarlat Cahors met Limoges verbond.
The villages of La Burague are located in the vicinity of Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, along a narrow path, where the Roman road via Sarlat-Cahors leads to Limoges. The road is very rough, but you will have to walk a few kilometres to get there. We are in the middle of the Dordogne region. On our way to Domme, a town with 800 people, where 180,000 tourists pass every year.
According to documents dating from 1460, La Burague is home to a large number of people. The house's roof dates back to 1758. In the past few years, it was no longer a ruin. The restoration work was carried out in 2002, with respect for the original nature of the building and the use of authentic materials, natural materials and paintings. Yesterday, we also took care of the building's roof, which is 10 m high in the bedrooms on the first floor.
